SONY KDL46S2010U - 46″ Widescreen Bravia HD Ready LCD TV - With Freeview - Blue/Grey
Customer Review: Big screen action
I’ve had this tv for about 2 months.I have to say it is superb. It has a built in freeview tuner which is handy. The digital picture is not as good as I had on my 36 inch crt toshiba, but I expected this.Having said that,it all depends on what’s being shown. Some programmes are superb while others are just ok.The Tv is capable of showing outstanding picture quality. It just depends on the broadcast quality of the programme. There are loads of picture adjustments available and these can be set individually for each input. This is handy because you may want the picture settings different for say the hdmi input, the dvd recorder and the freeview channels.I have a Samsung Blu Ray player connected to the HDMI input and I watched Casino Royale today.I have to say the picture was breathtaking. The best I’ve ever seen. There is Component input, which I’ve connected my dvd recorder too,in order to get the best picture possible from this.I’ve also connected the audio outputs to a Technics amp for big sound. The nicam sound from the tv is fine, nothing spectacular but it does the job.The only downside to this tv is that it has only one HDMI input,so you may need a splitter if you want to connect a HD Sky box and a HD dvd or Blu Ray player. Not a major problem.I highly recommend this tv.It has a very small power button on the top and it starts up very quickly and quietly. It oozes quality as it should with a recommended price of about ?2000.If you can pick it up for between ?1000-?1500, go for it.It’s a Sony afterall.

THIS IS A GOOD CHEAP RECORDER.IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO USE THE SOURCE BUTTON.I HAVE SCART LEADS CONNECTED SO SCART MUST BE SELECTED WITH THE SOURCE BUTTON.I HAVE PREVIOUSLY WRITTEN BAD COMMENTS ABOUT THIS RECORDER,BUT IT WAS MY IGNORANCE ABOUT THE SOURCE BUTTON THAT CAUSED THE PROBLEMS.THIS DVD RECORDER NOW WORKS PERFECT.

Customer Review: Fab
From a girly point of view…….it’s fab! Very easy to use - can record whatever I want when I want. Easy to use remote - point and press for immediate recording. Really is the dogs b………ks of DVD recorders! We bought one off Amazon and it was missing the Panasonic logo which really wouldn’t do but they took it back and there was no problem with the second one. Can’t recommend the DVD enough or Amazon. Buy with confidence (no - I don’t work for Amazon … honest).
Customer Review: Very Impressed
Thought long and hard about replacing our DVD player, VCR and Freeview box as they all worked perfectly - if it ain’t broken don’t fix it, but after getting a HDD TV we are so pleased with the Panasonic. Picture quality is superb with upscalling through HDMI, it was easy to install and simple to use and without all the old kit we have installed 2 extra storage shelves into our TV cupboard. Love the facility where you can start recording a program and start watching it before it has finished recording, also watching another recording whilst recording another. The unit is quiet when in use. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Why didn’t we change earlier?
