Customer Review: Get one in time for Christmas!!
I got mine just the other day and have to say I’m blown away, I cannot fault it personally it’s just a great display. Sony seem to be the leaders in the market at the moment and if you’re on the look out for a new TV you’ll not go far wrong with one of these!

Customer Review: Great TV…… but no added extras?
I bought this TV for me room, since I only have a very small amount of wall space. Having read the reviews, this one was the best one out of the whole 20″ range on Amazon.

The picture is brilliant. Even for a small screen size, details are still clearly seen. Sound quality is really good too. I also like the function on the remote control of switching between analogue TV and digital TV.

What I was a little disappointed with was that there was no sleep timer. I do often fall asleep with the TV on, but there is no function for the TV to turn itself off after a while either. Subtitles are hard to get to. No easy on/off button. You have to scroll though 4 pages of set up options. Im not hard of hearing, but I am considerate of others. Late night TV watching in my house wake everyone else up. It just really bugs me that I have to spend 45 seconds messing about with the remote, where on most TV’s and digi boxes, there is one simple button.

Apart from that this is a FANTASTIC tv. It was all agreed in my house that mine is the best. (I often come home and find people sitting on the floor on my room watching something)

If you want a great TV, and are not bothered about the things I mentioned, then this is it.

(it has two scart sockets too! Enough for a DVD player and a Nintendo Wii)

Customer Review: Neither One Thing Nor Another
I was looking for something that expanded upon, and made more easily comrehensible, the instruction manuals that came with my SB-800 and macro flash systems. What I wasn’t after was an idiot’s guide to using flash. Unfortunately, the latter is what I got. The book would be excellent for someone starting out to use a flash system for the very first time, needing advice and guidance on bounce flash, guide numbers, posing, ideas for subjects etc. I seriously doubt that there are too many people with an SB-600/800 who have those needs. The book dwells at tedious length on composition and subject ideas. It does give technical detail about using the system, but it is both irritatingly moronic in its assumptions about the reader and lacking in adequate technical detail to do much to expand on the instruction manual. The book deals, it says, with the Creative Lighting System. In fact, beyond a cursory mention a couple of times, it does not deal with the innovative macro-flash system at all. Users of D70/80/200 cameras with built in Speedlights fare a little better, but the emphasis is definitely on the SB-600/800 guns. I’d recommend using the money you don’t spend on this book on a few sets of batteries. Get used to the instruction manual and go out and experiment. The book is a waste of money for the majority of its supposed target readership.
Customer Review: Very Highly Recommended
I bought this book as I had struggled with the unreadable and frankly incomplete user manual supplied by the manufacturer (and I am fairly technical!). This book is clear, concise and accurate. It gives just enough information, no more, no less, to get you operating your SB600 or SB800 on and off camera, and wirelessly. It also gives some common senarios, with detail of how to light them. I very highly recommend it - it has moved my photography a giant leap forwards. Nikon should give this book with each light!
