Customer Review: Best LCD TV ever
Have owned this tv 10 weeks now - having previously owned a Panasonic 32″ Viera, decided to upgrade to a 40″ Tv. Researched several makes, read comments about fan noise. Went to Sony shop and listened for said noise, had to be very close to tv with sound turned off to hear the fans. Bought the tv, had it delivered and set up. My panasonic was excellent but this telly beats it hands down - picture and sound.

Fantastic TV, its the best set Sony have produced yet, however, in their wisdom, Sony have decided to fit this set with two cooling fans which you can clearly hear when the set is on. I would strongly recommend visiting a Sony Centre or any other electrical shop where you can see/listen to the set while it is switched on to see if you can live with the noise coming from these fans, it really does let the set down.
