Customer Review: Great value product
The package arrived very quickly (Hughes Direct). Initially I was a little disappointed that the subwoofer was on the light side, but having played several dvds I am extremely pleased with the overall sound and picture quality (I have a Samsung lcd tv) - exactly as you would expect from a Sony system and great for the low price! It was easy to install and is easily calibrated if you want more bass or to adjust volume to any one speaker. I couldn’t give it five stars since it does not have any digital audio input that I can connect to my cable box. I have several devices connected together and had to purchase an audio switcher to utilise the one 3mm stereo input (on the front) for my cable box and pc (note that no cables are included). All in all, for this price it’s a great buy!

Customer Review: Bratz Cyber Style Laptop
We bought this for our almost 6 year old several weeks ago. She loves anything ‘Bratz’. She is just in the process of learning to read and write, as well as beginning some introductory mathematics, in Senior Kindergarten this year, and many of the games and activities on this product are beyond her at the present time. Nonetheless, a number of the games are within her ability and I think she would probably have been quite happy just to have had these games on this toy - particularly because it’s ‘Bratz’, and because it is in her mind a ‘big girl’ lap top. But to my surprise, this product really does encourage her to stretch beyond her current skill zone in order to play with the other more advanced games and activites. For example, in 20 minutes, with me sitting with her, she happily worked at, and mastered, some math concepts which she had been grappling with at school. For this alone the price was well worth itself. We are very pleased with this product.
Customer Review: Good toy for learning
This toy was bought for my 5Yrs old daughter and she just loves it. She uses it to play but is learning the whole time; I know this because she tells me what new things she has learned and asks me to to play the games with her to show me how to do it. I would recommend this toy for anyone who is interested in giving educational play and all that comes with it as a gift to someone they love.

Customer Review: Don’t bother
I bought this book in the belief that it would provide more detail about the 5D than the instruction book did. For example why are the high and low ISO (expansion) ranges protected? We all know that noise increases with ISO speed so why the need to restrict the range? The low is supposed to be due to poor latitude of the sensor - something I found on a web site and wanted to check out. But what are the implications of this and how do I compensate for it? When would it be good to use the low range? It was this sort of information that I hoped the book would contain. The book is written by a person who has used the 5D with the instruction book and added some padding. So if you are expecting some greater insight in to the 5D than the instruction book provides this is not the book. The few photos it contains are in black and white. Recommendation not worth buying. Spend your money on a bigger memory card and experiment.

Customer Review: Perfect
This is the best laptop I’ve ever seen for this price range, everything’s working fine and it’s quite powerful.
Customer Review: Great laptop, Sony services could be better
I just received this laptop last week and so far, so good. It is quiet and remains relatively cool. It is a decent size and weight, just on the border of being lightweight. It handles tasks very quickly and the display is nice. Battery life is good, if run in the power saving mode, but performance and display are sacrificed. My only problem with this laptop is the lack of support from Sony. You pretty much have to stick with the OS installed (Vista Home Premium) if you want all your hardware to function correctly. When I first received the laptop, I installed Vista Ultimate, only to find out that there is no software/driver support available yet for the OS. I received no recovery disks with the laptop, but a hidden 5GB partition is in-built to recover you laptop back to factory settings as long as you don’t format your hard drive. The laptop comes loaded with bloatware which can take a few hours to sift through and remove. Some of these are required to have hardware function (i.e. Protector Suite QL for the biometric fingerprint reader), but most are useless or are trials. I suggest proceeding with caution when deleting anything as it takes a few hours alone to restore back to factory settings if you happen to delete something that was a necessity. *EDIT* It’s been almost a month since I got the laptop. I’ve so far had no hardware or software issues with it. I have noticed that responsiveness in the keyboard is decreased when the mouse touchpad is enabled, probably from accidental mouse movement. One of the things I wanted to point out was the prime location of the USB ports. There is on located on the front right hand side of the laptop which is perfect for wireless or corded mouse USB adapters. I’ve seen a number of laptops with inconveniently positioned USB ports that make it kind of a hassle to use your mouse. I also wanted to point out the responsiveness of the laptop when coming back from standby. As far as sound is concerned, the inbuilt speakers certaintly not loud enough to overcome a loud conversation around you or a lot of noise, but in a quiet environment, they are more than enough. They’re located on the sides of the keyboard, so the sound projects upward instead of toward you, which I find to be the only downside.

Customer Review: Very good afforadable camera
This has been my first digital camera and I don’t know how easy other cameras are but this one is very simple. I quickly leared all the functions and how to operate the camera. I baught this camera depite the other reviews saying how bulky in size it was but when I got it it seeamed average size. Its only quite big while taking photos because the lens comes out. I found the 6 digital zoom quite handy. You can also video record with sound. not sure for how long. Its 8.1 mega pixels makes the photos look very high quality the only problem is they take so long to email because the photos are quite large in size but you can reduce the quality if you would like to. Its got other feautres such as if you take a photo of the sea to make the sea look a strong blue colour. Also to take photos in low light areas with out using a flash. The batteries last a very long time and it comes with a battery charger
Customer Review: Chunky, but easy to use, monkey camera
The camera is very good, easy to use and takes great pictures, but a bit chunky (more than the amazon picture leads you to believe) Do not buy the Sony LCS-CST Soft Carrying Case For Slim Cybershot with the camera, as recommended by Amazon, as it is too small for the camera.
