Customer Review: Very good reception.
This Zenith DTT900 converter box provides excellent, stable reception even with signals that have my HDTV blacking out. The menus are clear and easy to use. The reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars is that it does not have RF pass-through, which means your TV is cut off from your antenna when the box is turned off. This only matters if you have low-power analog stations in your area, which will continue in operation after the major stations transition to digital only. Zenith is not an American company anymore. This box is made in China. That’s probably true of each and every consumer electronics company these days.

Very soon, it will be impossible to get analog signals off the air. Regular TV as we knew it for 60 years will be no more. That’s the bad news. The GOOD NEWS is that — with this converter box — you will be able to receive beautiful DIGITAL signals without paying for cable or satellite. Not only will you receive your old favorites (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox), but you will also be able to receive lots of new channels! And it’s all possible with this converter box. Zenith is American-made, and it’s the best product on the market. Highly, highly recommended.
