Customer Review: Great gadget especially used with Rockbox
Well made gizmo (with no radio unless you specifically get the ones with the radio “hadware” costing more; it’s not a firmware issue any more). If you are a technogeek you can put rockbox (an additional and alternative free system) on this player and extend its functionality beyond belief (including support for 8gb microSD card). You’d be wise to get a decent headphone to get the best sound out of this player.
Customer Review: Overfilling?
I’ve had the problem where if I put TOO MUCH music on the thing (so there’s less than 10mb of memory left) it will take a full minute or more to boot up and then display the message NOT ENOUGH SPACE FOR MUSIC DATABASE. But if you connect to your PC in this state it doesn’t show up. Only thing to do then is to format it and erase everything and start again unless you want to keep listening tho the same music over ‘n over again. ANyone else noticed this?

It has been my misfortune to own this combi for 2 years and I must say it’s junk. My beefs with the product are as follows: Very noisy fan. Machine keeps locking up in DVD playback - happens with any DVD irrespective of region or whether it’s pre-recorded or not. Hostile DVD recording interface. Watch out for this on eBay in the new year!

I am writing this review on the Sanyo DVR-V100E DVD+VCR Multiregion recorder. I give the machine 5 stars. Connection and setup were very straightforward. I admit I read the manual through a couple of times before attempting this,and with some trepidation, I followed it through and was amazed how easy it was to do. If I can do it at my age of 73 anyone can do it!. For me, it does exactly what it says on the tin, as one nameless advert has it. Also the unit was supplied with two Imation DVD+R discs and I use Imation DVD+RW discs for recording using Videoplus. The convertion to multiregion use was extremely easy, using the link from the Amazon Website for this product and I have played my region 1 DVDs with no problems. Davyar.
