Customer Review: CAN I SEND IT BACK? PLEASE!!
Despite the negative feedback from some reviews (which I DID read before purchasing, I’m ashamed to say) I decided to brave it and buy a Sony RDR-VX410. Credit where it is due, the picture quality is very good. It is also relatively simple to use if you don’t bother about the advanced features. Simply recording from TV, copying DVD to VHS and vice versa works well and should please most users. HOWEVER DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT try to play double sided DVDs. It will get stuck inside the machine for a VERY LONG time. Guaranteed! I get the same problem with some normal, single sided DVDs but couldn’t figure out any sort of “pattern” with them. The machine tries to “load data” for absolutely ages and never starts playing. You press the eject button, it acknowledges the command by displaying eject on the display for a few seconds, then it tries to “load the data” again. This cycle repeats itself WAAAY, WAAAY longer than a normal, level headed person would be expecting to wait for a simple “Eject” function to be performed. Last time it happened and I wasn’t so furious that I could time it, it took 25 minutes for me to be able to get the F*****G disc out. (”Ah! It must be a problem with the discs”, I hear you say… WRONG! It isn’t! I play them ALL PERFECTLY on my CHEAP AND CHEARFUL Alba player, which is now permanently stationed on my rack, above the Sony. And to think that my intention when I bought the Sony was to reduce the number of appliances in my bedroom!). This problem occurred 8 to 10 times in the past few months. It must be an incompatibility issue of some sort, a design fault or this one is faulty, I don’t know. Quite frankly, I expected much better from a product made by a household name such as Sony, which for me has always been synonymous with reliability, ease of use and long lasting equipment. This one has left me wishing I hadn’t bought it. Most operations are painfully slow and the eject button has a mind of its own. Also, the menu on some DVDs simply don’t show. You can’t select an episode or chapter or scene. You have to play the whole movie, whether you like it or not. Having said all that, I still trust Sony, naively trying (hard) to convince myself that this was just a bad design or I got unlucky. Can I send it back? Please?
Customer Review: A Good Buy!
Having read the review on this site, I was loathe to risk the purchase, but having long experience of Sony products I decided to risk it. I am so pleased that I did. I have not experienced any of the problems the earlier reviewer mentions. ALL my DVD’s and video’s play on the machine, “homegrown” or purchased - with excellent results. My only complaint? The Instruction book is rather complex, and pre-supposes a knowledge of the subject.

Customer Review: Brilliant tv
Ok, I actually got the 42 inch version of the telly, but I can’t find it on amazon, and i’m guessing they are the same except for the size. This is a great tv and I will now discuss the good and bad aspects to it.

Good things: If you have digital tv or HD tv it is great quality. The dvd and playstation/xbox quality is brilliant. The tv looks great especially since it is so big. It has some of the best quality of the lcd tvs. It is easy to set up. The shopkeepers will try to sell you loads of extra features for it, but it is great without them and it doesn’t really need them. It is a great price for what you get

Bad things: It isn’t brilliant quality without digital or HD tv.

Extra features: These are not important and are quite expensive, I know some people will want them, and they are probably worth buying ( I didn’t bother though ). A lot of people have commented on the surround sound system, the regular sound of the tv doesn’t have anything wrong with it, but i’m sure the surround sound system is good for movies.

This is probably one of the best lcd’s out and I highly reccomend it.

Customer Review: Sony’s best lcd yet

Customer Review: Techsplosion poor service and faulty products
I really wouldn’t purchase anything from this supplier, I have had a nightmare dealing with their customer service. The 12 month warranty given has not been honoured and they still haven’t resovled the fault with an MP3 I purchased, despite numerous phone calls and emails.

Customer Review: Handy Sanyo Mp3 Player DMP-M400SD
I bought this partly having read the previous reviewers helpful comments with which I agree. Overall plasticky feel belies more robust build than first looks suggest; also well finished and thought out. Lots of features for the money and refreshingly different too. Initially bought as a cheap ‘in car’ music source when used with an Mp3 transmitter thro’ the car audio. Now enjoyed around the home too. Being so small and light it slips unobtrusively into my shirt pocket. The ‘joystick’ button can seem a bit ‘iffy’ but improves with familiarity. I use rechargeable AAA Ni-cads that seem to work well despite only disposable Alkaline cells being recommended in the manual. Generous features and info. available on the orange backlit screen include many Settings. The handy radio works well too. The sound quality is good and even better through more costly ‘phones. Some functions respond a tad slowly - but so do I! Cannot help feel that this Sanyo player will soon be replaced due to its unfashionable design and horrible unattractive packaging. As of 19/6/07 it seems a good ‘offer’ from an Amazon seller at ?25 inc. 2Gb SD card. But beware, one online outlet is selling at ?80+, way over the suggested price. I’ve quickly grown to like this small, quirky, practical little player.

Customer Review: Compare with the i pod 3rd Generation
I have just bought the SONY NW-S705 2 Gb player. It was a difficult choice, since the more widely bought i pod nano was almost the same cost & probably more appealing. Reading the various reviews online did allow me to give the SONY a chance, especially since it’s superior sound quality got it extra points. I also had the opportunity to hear my friend’s Latest i pod (& there were no reviews for the new October 2007 3rd Generation version. As expected, the sound of the SONY is far better, especially in relation to the Bass. The treble qualities are much the same in both. The noise cancellation properties are more pronounced in noisier surrounding, than in routine use (eg the gym). Also, the SONY offers features like virtual surround sound like Live, arena, etc which is a plus point. As mentioned by various reviewers previously is the Sonic stage software - which is the one biggest drawback of this superb music system. I am not sure why such an advanced sound giant like SONY sticks to such an inconvenient software, instead of copy & paste or drag & drop functionality. Hence, information on album cover, etc all have to be entered manually. Overall, I think that the product is good value for money, in spite of a few glitches.
Customer Review: Sony
Already have an older Sony 1gb mp3 which is excellent….however don’t know why amazon still have this one priced so high. Ok , I know it’s not a brand new model but 50 hour battery life is great. got mine from PC World at ?39:95 !!!!!

Customer Review: Fab
From a girly point of view…….it’s fab! Very easy to use - can record whatever I want when I want. Easy to use remote - point and press for immediate recording. Really is the dogs b………ks of DVD recorders! We bought one off Amazon and it was missing the Panasonic logo which really wouldn’t do but they took it back and there was no problem with the second one. Can’t recommend the DVD enough or Amazon. Buy with confidence (no - I don’t work for Amazon … honest).
Customer Review: Very Impressed
Thought long and hard about replacing our DVD player, VCR and Freeview box as they all worked perfectly - if it ain’t broken don’t fix it, but after getting a HDD TV we are so pleased with the Panasonic. Picture quality is superb with upscalling through HDMI, it was easy to install and simple to use and without all the old kit we have installed 2 extra storage shelves into our TV cupboard. Love the facility where you can start recording a program and start watching it before it has finished recording, also watching another recording whilst recording another. The unit is quiet when in use. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Why didn’t we change earlier?

Customer Review: You get what you pay for!
This is a fantastic TV, replacing a broken 19″ CRT in our bedroom. Great picture and Bravia processing works a treat. All kinds of adjustments including colour, contrast and even backlight control. Sound is clear and well rounded. Despite questionable viewing angles of 178, which it clearly doesn’t have, I still give this TV 5 stars as the blacks and colours are without doubt the best I have seen on an LCD of this size. The remote control is a treat to use and all on screen menus are intuative. My 32″ CRT has also just packed up (two broken TV’s in less than a fortnight, what’s the chances of that?) I know which manufacturer I will be buying from.

Customer Review: Lite-On
I had been looking for another DVD Recorder to upgrade from my existing Lite-On. I had looked at a number of models but i was looking at the time for a combi version but decided later that this was not the best route to take. I have owned Lite-On products before and have had no problems with them, I had been surfing the net looking for a decent recorder which had a reasonable price tag attached and one mainly with a HD as standard. I found the LVW - 5055GDL+ and thought wow 250GB of Hard Drive. it also came with wma, video+, mpeg 4, divx, i was certainly interested especially the hard drive side of it. However the negative views given about this recorder certainly had me thinking long and hard, but i thought considering the amount of Lite-On products i have owned i decided to divert away from these nagative stories and so purchased the recorder. On receiving it i went over everything played around with it and put it through its paces i do this with everything i buy and normally cannot understand why some people have given the views they have. Anyway everything on this recorder is perfect and the quality of the HD is excellent but it all depends on what compression you take the higher compression the lower the quality. What i also like is the S Video connection which my other model did not have which was a real pain in the neck. The weight of this recorder is quite hefty it looks nice and operates perfectly. The DVD Drawer may over time become slower as i have usually found this with lite on’s and sometimes do stick but other than that i am happy with this purchase. There are other brands of DVD Recorder which i have found to be naff but live and learn.
Customer Review: Horrible
While it does play multi-region DVD and it does record, it doesn’t do either very well. Most of the time our DVD’s skip or the picture fades in and out; or it goes from color to black and white. Today the sound went out. I had to turn the DVD player power off and restart it to fix the problem. We’ve only owned the DVD player for about 9 months and we don’t use it all that often. I wouldn’t waste my money on this product.

Sony KDL-46W3000 - 46” Widescreen Bravia 1080P Full HD LCD TV - With Freeview

Customer Review: 46w3000
Hiya everyone,

I’m lucky enough that my parents decided to shell out for one of these this Christmas. Well, we have been living in the stone age of CRT for the last 10 years!

First thing I’ll talk about is the SD picture. Before it arrived, I knew that the SD picture wouldn’t be beautiful, but when you’re getting a TV like this, you kind of expect it to be, despite knowing that it can’t be. I would just like to warn people now that the SD picture is fairly imprecise. I would say that it is fairly similar, or even worse than the picture I used to get on our old CRT. It is susceptible to motion blur, especially when the picture is very bright or vivid. I’ve been fiddling about with the settings, and the more soft and dark I make the picture, the less motion blur there is. I don’t think we’re going to get Sky HD, so we’re living with a compromise between slight motion blur and a dark picture for the moment, with Sky +.

A couple of tips for people using it with an SD picture.

1) Immediately go to the settings menu and turn the picture type from “Vivid” to “Standard” or “Cinema”. Vivid looks horrible with an SD picture, so do this before you start to get too worried.

2)For me, the motion blur seemed to burn out a little with time, so give it a little time

However, I’ve used a couple of HDMI inputs with this, and this is what this TV is about. Really, when you’re buying a TV like this, you should factor in getting a couple of HD inputs. An HD-DVD or Blu-ray player will look STUNNING with this TV.

The HDMI inputs I used were

1)My XBOX 360. The picture on PGR4 was so, so good. The intro video was just awesome. I was so impressed by the picture. However, on Halo 3, there was a bit of motion blur. I’m going to fiddle about a bit and hopefully I can eliminate this. The TV is not 100hz, which is the only let-down on the Technology front. But at this price, you should be getting it. This may be part of the reason for the motion blur.

2)A Sony DVD upscaler, which we got with the TV. Despite the fact that it’s upscaling ordinary 420p DVDs, the picture is brilliant. That quality surprised me, I wasn’t expecting it. I watched Black Hawk Down. Colour is very rich and when using this on an HDMI input, there is NO motion blur. Obviously not quite the quality you’d get from a proper HD-DVD player, but very good. I’d recommend one of those upscalers if you’re going to get this. I watched a DVD on our old player, and I think the upscaler improves the picture by about 5 times, by eliminating Motion Blur, and delivering a picture that is about 4 times crisper.

Basically, what I’d say about this TV is that you should not get it if you don’t have any HDMI inputs, and are not going to get any. You’ll just be disappointed with the SD picture. However if you’ve got kit capable of being HDMI inputs, then it’s great. I mean really, really great. Stunning. The difference between an SD picture and an HD picture on it is huge. That’s because the TV is geared towards delivering you an excellent HD picture. There’s no point in having all this expensive HD technology in the TV if you’re not going to use any of it, and are thinking of sticking with the old SD kit for a while. I’m saying this seemed to be the view of my parents. Apart from the DVD upscaler, they don’t want to get any HD inputs. I might get one of those HD-DVD player add-ons for my 360, because I now realise that the TV is for HD, so use it for HD! Not to do so just makes the whole purchase pointless.

So when you buy this, factor in how much the HD-DVD player/Sky HD etc is going to cost.

All of this was written from my perspective, i.e moving from a 26″ CRT to this. I can’t really compare between the different HD LCD models, as I havn’t really experienced this TVs competitors. I’m just talking about what you gain/don’t gain from making that move.

I gave this 5 stars because I’ve seen what this TV can do with an HD input and it’s awesome. In the Sony shop, I saw this hooked up to a Blu-ray player (well, it would be blu-ray in a Sony shop wouldn’t it), and WOW. So that’s why it gets 5 stars. I almost knocked off a star for the SD picture and the lack of 100hz. The lack of 100hz is bad at this price. But the SD picture is bad on all these TVs from what I’ve seen, so it would be silly to knock off a star for that.

And the TV does have lots of good technology in it. It’s got 24P. That’s cool. When films are shot, 24 frames are taken every second. However, in Britain, the TVs normally output at 25 frames every second. So the film is sped up by 4%. 24P gets the film back to its original fps, so you see it how the director intended to see it. So your favorite film of all time is now 4% longer. How’s that for a service. Donnie Darko is 4% longer, that justifies the price in itself. It’s also obviously 1080P, the latest HD format to come out, so it’s up to date.

Oh and lastly, one thing I forgot to mention is that the first thing I noticed with this TV was the sound quality! You never really think of sound quality as being important when you’re watching TV, but it’s so crisp. I’m hearing things I never heard before. And it’s got this virtual surround sound system which kind of works. For me there is now NO reason to get a seperate surround sound system.

So to sum up, the pros and cons that I noticed

Pros

Awesome Sound Quality

Stunning HD picture when used with HD inputs

Good technology in there, e.g 24p

Quite future proof, with 1080P and 3 HDMI sockets

Stylish with brushed Aluminium frame

Large size

Lots of Adjustment in the settings menu

Cons

SD picture no better than on old CRTs

Lack of 100hz technology

Motion Blur with SD picture and on some HD pictures (XBOX 360 for me)

Yeh think that’s about it

You’ll also be able to burn a wide range of disc formats with the integrated DVD/CD burner.

This notebook is powered by the 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 processor from the newest “Santa Rosa” chipset. Providing an optimized, multithreaded architecture for improved gaming and multitasking performance, as well as excellent battery management, it also offers a speedy 800 MHz front-side bus and 2 MB L2 cache. It also includes Intel’s 4965 AGN wireless LAN, which will connect to draft 802.11n routers and offers compatibility with 802.11a/b/g networks as well. Other features include dual 120 GB hard drives (for a 240 GB total capacity), 2 GB of installed RAM (4 GB maximum), 1 GB of Intel Turbo Memory, biometric fingerprint scanner, 5-in-1 memory card reader, and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR wireless connectivity.

This PC also comes preinstalled with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium, which includes all of the Windows Media Center capabilities for turning your PC into an all-in-one home entertainment center. In addition to easily playing your DVD movies and managing your digital audio library, you’ll be able to record and watch your favorite TV shows (even HDTV). Vista also integrates new search tools throughout the operating system, includes new parental control features, and offers new tools that can warn you of impending hardware failures.

The Basics

  • Processor: The Intel Core 2 Duo T7100 processor has a 1.8 GHz processor speed, super-fast 800 MHz front-side bus (FSB), and a 2 MB L2 cache. (An L2, or secondary, cache temporarily stores data; and a larger L2 cache can help speed up your system’s performance. The FSB carries data between the CPU and RAM, and a faster front-side bus will deliver better overall performance.)

The Intel Core 2 Duo processor has two computational execution cores in a single processor, providing greater system response when running multi-threaded applications simultaneously with no significant increase in power consumption. It’s optimized for multitasking and is ready to support the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. It can simultaneously run multiple demanding applications–such as graphics-intensive games or serious number-crunching business productivity applications–while downloading music or running virus-scanning security programs in the background. Some of the advanced Intel innovations of the Core 2 Duo processor include:

    • Smart Memory Access: Improves system performance by hiding memory latency, thus optimizing the use of available computer data bandwidth to provide data to the processor when and where it is needed.
    • Advanced Digital Media Boost: Effectively doubles the execution speed for instructions used widely in multimedia and graphics applications.
    • Dynamic Power Coordination: Coordinates Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology and idle power-management state (C-states) transitions independently per core to help save power.
    • Deeper Sleep with Dynamic Cache Sizing: Saves power by flushing cache data to system memory during periods of inactivity to lower CPU voltage.

  • Hard Drive: This system offers a total of 240 GB of hard disk drive space from two 120 GB drives (5400 RPM). These Serial ATA (SATA) hard drives also quicken the pace with a higher speed transfer of data–akin to FireWire and USB 2.0.
  • Memory: The 2 GB of installed RAM (2 x 1 GB DDR2, PC5300) is an excellent start, but you’ll want to add more RAM to handle today’s demanding multimedia and productivity suites. It provides two DIMM slots and has a large 4 GB maximum RAM capacity. It also offers a top-of-class 667 MHz speed.

It also includes 1 GB of Intel Turbo Memory, which stores frequently used information near the processor, where it’s more quickly available, enabling your notebook to actually learn your habits and thus provide better system response. This entirely new system innovation for Windows Vista PCs is based on Performance Intel NAND Flash Memory (like the memory used in an iPod or USB thumb drive), together with supporting software.

  • DVD/CD Drive: This Satellite notebook offers the next generation of DVD entertainment with the HD DVD ROM optical drive, which provides the superior image and sound quality of high-definition images and multichannel surround sound as well as backward compatibility with standard DVD movie discs and content burned onto DVD-R/RW, DVD-RAM. It also incorporates a multi-format DVD/CD burner, which is compatible with dual-layer (DL) discs that can hold up to 8.5 GB of data. It features the following speeds: 4x DVD+R DL, 4x DVD-R DL, 8x for both single-layer DVD+R/-R, 4x DVD+RW, 4x DVD-RW, 5x DVD-RAM, and 24x/16x for CD-R/RW. It reads DVD-ROM discs at 8x and CD-ROMs at 24x.
  • Keyboard & Mouse: This notebook has a 104-key keyboard–with 10-keypad on the side–and electro-static two-button touchpad. It also offers CD/DVD media player and control buttons (play, stop, next, previous) as well as a volume control dial.

Screen, Video & Audio
This notebook has a 17-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels (native 720p for high-definition viewing). It also provides TruBrite technology, which makes images brighter and more vivid thanks to its anti-glare feature. Video is powered by the Nvidia GeForce 8700M graphics card, which provides up to 767 MB of available RAM/video memory (256 MB dedicated DDR3 RAM) for unmatched HD video performance on a notebook PC. (GDDR3 (Graphics Double Data Rate, version 3) is a graphics card-specific memory technology that’s better able to deliver fluid frame rates for even the most advanced games and applications.) With support for Microsoft DirectX 10 Shader Model 4.0 and High Dynamic-Range Lighting (HDR), it lets you rip through all of today’s most advanced and cutting-edge games and applications. Experience real-time photo editing, or immerse yourself in the most complex, true-to-life gaming environments.

It includes the Dolby Home Theater set of features, which provide up to 5.1 discrete channels of crystal-clear digital surround sound as well as virtual 5.1-channel surround sound experience from any pair of stereo speakers. It also features four stylishly incorporated Harman Kardon stereo speakers with a built-in subwoofer.

Networking, Connectivity & Expansion
Be ready for the next platform in wireless connectivity with this notebook’s integrated quad-mode Wi-Fi chip. Based on the draft 802.11n Wi-Fi specification, it offers up to five times the performance and twice the wireless range as existing 802.11g wireless. It’s also backward compatible with 802.11b/g networks (commonly found in home routers and Wi-Fi hotspots) as well as 802.11a networks (which has a higher throughput, but more limited range–great for closed office environments). You’ll enjoy wireless connectivity to a wide range of peripherals with the built-in Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR (enhanced data rate), which offers up to three times the bandwidth of standard Bluetooth.

Customer Review: Satellite X205
Very happy with the delivery and the product. Thus far the only issue is a single dead pixel on the lower area of the screen and a card reader that has trouble deciding if it can read Sony memory sticks…great notebook!
Customer Review: A great Laptop
Pros: Beautiful large screen. Fast processor and plenty of RAM. Great video card GRAW2 runs at acceptable FPS with all settings at it s highest . The sound is fantastic, everyone is always shocked when I play something for them on it. Very sturdy case, not flimsy at all. Lots of extra little features on it that aren t mentioned in the description toggle switch for WiFi, volume control spins instead of having hard stop so it works well with the soft volume controls, touchpad can turn into a media control pad . Cons: Very large laptop, it actually doesn t fit very well in my X-Large Timbuktu Messenger bag. The little rubber feet are just glued on and one has already come off. The power supply is gigantic and literally weighs 3 pounds by itself. If you are looking for a desktop replacement or a portable mid to high end gaming system, this is a great laptop. If you are not looking for either of these things, take a look at another laptop. This is a very large and powerful laptop that is at the limits of portability. I love mine, but I use it for the reasons mentioned above.

Customer Review: Very good for the price…….
Having just bought this unit recently I am surprised with the sound quality for the price. Although the sub woofer is massive, the 5 satellite speakers are quite small, yet I have not come across a situation where they have distorted. This unit is perfect for most size homes where the cinema is in one standard room such as a lounge. In my opinion:

Pro’s:

Great Sound

Easy to setup

Future Proof as other items such as a DVD player aren’t integrated

Very expandable (lot’s of connections)

Con’s:

Surround rear speakers are wired

The AV processor unit is large by today’s standards

MP3 “portable” function not very good

Customer Review: Yamada DVR 8000 - hopeless - beware
The only thing that is easy is playing a DVD. Recording - the instructions are so bad that you need a day to figure it out; it doesn’t scan the channels properly or accept manual input and the timer won’t store instructions so we’ve never managed to record the right programme! When playing a DVD you can hear the TV in the background and you can’t record something whilst watching another channel. Perhaps this can be sorted out with some technical support - but they don’t respond to email requests, the support telephone lines go to an answer machine or give you some instructions to prepare for the support - and then hang up. We will have to buy another one now.
Customer Review: yamada dvr 8000 player recorder
this proved very complicated to use,and the instructions were very difficult to understand.

Sony KDL26U2000 - 26″ Widescreen Bravia HD Ready LCD TV - With Freeview - Granite

Customer Review: Good Value
This is the first LCD tv I’ve ever bought, I’d been putting it off each year believing that they still had some way to go before being as good as the best CRTs (old Sony Triniton 100Hz tvs for example).

I have to say I was nicely surprised once I had set it up, as long as you’ve got a healthy reception the digital broadcast images are very good. I find the colours a bit intense on some channels, though I suspect this is due to the broadcast signal rather than the TV.

Plenty of inputs though for connecting a PC you are limited to analogue VGA, that said with a good graphics card the picture is still very good (way better than what’d you’d get on a CRT tv and more than adequate for web browsing, watching movies etc).

Sound is also better than expected, the audio line out is brilliant for connecting to a hifi-amp, though is fixed in level so you’ll need a hifi remote to adjust the volume from the sofa.

The rec-timer funtion is one of my fav features, it can be programmed to send any digital broadcast down the smartlink Scart port to your older VCR/DVD recorder while the TV is off (effectively giving you a Sky+ style recorder). Of course you still have to set the timer on your video :-) This also removes the need to pass the broadcast signal through the VCR before connecting to the TV which can often cause interference.

All in all, good value, perhaps not quite as good as the best CRTs but for ?425 you really can’t complain.

Customer Review: You get what you pay for
I needed a TV for my daughters bedroom makeover. I very nearly bought a cheaper 32″, strange make, with fair reviews from Ebuyer.

But I didn’t.

I virtually always go for a premium brand, and am a great believer in the phrase Price is forgotten long after quality is remembered.

In the end I found this ?100 off, and I was able to use my company discount. Bottom line I Paid ?380. So a good price.

I was not expecting the digital free view, so we were delighted to get this as a bonus. Loads of extra channels, and some really good ones, Film4/ Sky news/ music channels plus a raft of others.

Picture quality - from my aerial was crystal clear, its HD ready, but I haven’t used this mode yet.

Wall mounting - easy to do. It didn’t come with a kit, I bought one online from www.av4home.co.uk (?33 including next day delivery).

I had to cut off the moulded plug, and replace with another one, so I could hide the wires away. It comes with a lead, which you cannot detach from the TV, and it is about 1.5m long.

Looks great on the wall, and picture quality is fabulous.

Nice one.

Bratz Cyber Style Laptop
List Price: $58.49
Amazon Price: $37.49
Customer Review: Bratz Cyber Style Laptop
We bought this for our almost 6 year old several weeks ago. She loves anything ‘Bratz’. She is just in the process of learning to read and write, as well as beginning some introductory mathematics, in Senior Kindergarten this year, and many of the games and activities on this product are beyond her at the present time. Nonetheless, a number of the games are within her ability and I think she would probably have been quite happy just to have had these games on this toy - particularly because it’s ‘Bratz’, and because it is in her mind a ‘big girl’ lap top. But to my surprise, this product really does encourage her to stretch beyond her current skill zone in order to play with the other more advanced games and activites. For example, in 20 minutes, with me sitting with her, she happily worked at, and mastered, some math concepts which she had been grappling with at school. For this alone the price was well worth itself. We are very pleased with this product.
Customer Review: Good toy for learning
This toy was bought for my 5Yrs old daughter and she just loves it. She uses it to play but is learning the whole time; I know this because she tells me what new things she has learned and asks me to to play the games with her to show me how to do it. I would recommend this toy for anyone who is interested in giving educational play and all that comes with it as a gift to someone they love.

Customer Review: Awesome!
Mulled over which bravia to buy for months. This model is awesome. Looks fantastic switched off and the quality when switched on is unmistakable. Bravia PRO engine, 100Hz, 1080P, combine to give awesome picture quality with both SKY HD and PS3. Sound is through a 5:1 system so haven’t really tried out the TVs own. No noise issues with the internal fan. Can’t recommend this enough.
