Customer Review: Poor Sony Product & Very poor Company Support
I am on my third machine, none of which have been any good. The third machine received July 2007 has been back to the authorised repairer five times. In twelve months I have less than 3 months use out of it. The main problem was the machine switching on and off as per other reviews. The repairers have replaced many parts and I am currently waiting for the repairer to receive a printed circuit board to rectify the problem. I have no faith that this will completely solve the problem. DO NOT expect any help or consideration from the Customer Service section of SONY UK. The machine has been with the repairer since 26 October 2007 and is still there now. BUY one at your peril prepare to be disappointed.
Customer Review: Common fault of switching its self off
Have had exactly same experience as others, had machine for 5 months now turns its self on and off every few seconds. 2 friends bought same machine and had same problem. Contact Sony 08705 111999 and they will give you name of nearest Sony repair firm, who will repair if within 12 month warranty. Hope this helps, frankly dissappointed that this recognised common fault does not mean an automatic replacement from manufacturers.

Customer Review: not that impressed (yet)
I’ve only had this player 2 days but I must say my first impressions are not that great. On paper this machine seems to do everything, but I took a risk buying it as I couldn’t find any reviews for it online. My first comment is that it’s so s……l……o…….w. Put in a DVD movie and it takes an age for the menu to appear. Once playing a movie things are not much better. The 1080p upscaling (via HDMI) seems to work - however Iam not sure it’s any better than the xbox360 over VGA. The user interface looks dated and again is very slow to nativate around. I’ve yet to attempt any recording, but I hope it will score better in that area! So far only 3 stars (for HDMI output and styling).

Customer Review: It is cute but not worth the price
The display clarity is not that impressive. The number of pixels is less, that if a normal 6×4 photo is uploaded without alterations, you hardly see the face or picture clearly. Nice gift but definetely not worth the price as latest gadgets are fancier and are really of better quality. Also, it is bit bulkier and prone to scratches if it is kept with keys. Not sure if everyone will carry it.
Customer Review: Great for a Proud Daddy to Be
I bought this for my husband’s Christmas and it’s great. He found it easy to use and I was quite impressed with the fact that you can crop the photos in order to make them look better when you upload them onto your key ring. It looks quite snazzy - not cheap at all, and is not too big to go on your keys. I bought it for him as we are expecting a baby and I thought that this would be perfect for the proud daddy to show off photos to work mates and friends. He has put lots of photos of friends and family on it at the moment and it really does hold a lot of images.

Customer Review: Confidently Solid piece of kit
Came complete with every conceivable bolt/spacer combination for TV mounts. I used it with their wall mounted swivel arm, also a good solid lump of steel.

Paint finish is first class, and the bearing mounts are fully adjustable and can be clamped with the supplied Allen key.

Installation instructions were first class with good visual aids as well as written description.

You will need a socket set to do up the tilt clamps.

A product suggestion would be to have an optional tray underneath to place a DVD or Video player on.

The mp3 player is great. I am a landscape gardener and use the mp3 player all day. For all those people complaining about the battery charge it right. if you charge it with a computer it will take about 40 hours to charge but if you use the mains it will take 2 and it dose last the full 10 and a half hours.

Customer Review: DOES NOT WORK
There is no phone number to call if you are having trouble. Well, there is but you have to pay a monthly fee for ArcSoft’s support. So I had to e-mail them. I did this about two weeks ago and they have yet to respond. Gheldmandare doesn’t give out a phone number. My computer does not recognize the hardware. I have replaced the cable and USB cord. I have Vista. It should work for Millenium and above. It’s not working.

I paid under $75.00 for this product and when it came today I loaded the software into my laptop and plugged in the USB port hardware. I was immediately disappointed. I quickly wrote an email to the reseller telling them of my disappointment. Then, in only a few minutes, I discovered that the software was actually great and made the hardware work perfectly. I’m embarrassed. This is a great product. It is everything I hoped for. I can hardly believe that I got this for so little money.

This is a great little unit, with superb sound quality for the size. The battery life is amazing and the time ton recharge (from USB port) can’t be beaten. The earphones are of good quality (although jumping on the ipod bandwagon being white!) with great bass and tone. Once you get used to the controls, it is extremely easy to navigate around and you can find most features relatively quickly. This is perfect for the gym due to it’s size and weight. On the other side, sadly I have to say after owning Sony Mp3’s for many years now that I regret the day I ever chose Sony. This is all down to the terrible Sonicstage software. Yes it is easy to use, but it limits you to Sony hardware for the rest of your life (unless you want to reload hundreds of Cd’s onto your computer) and sadly ever since I loaded the version of sonicstage that came with this MP3 onto my computer it has made all newly recorded albums skip and jump and it no longer allows me to transfer previously loaded albums onto my new MP3! Frustrating in the extreme. So overall, great MP3 player, terrible software.
Customer Review: Everythings Great With This…Apart From Volume!
This is a great looking little MP3 Player, very easy to get to grips with the buttons and simple menus. Everything’s great, until your on the train or bus and go to turn the volume up a couple of notches and realize your at the 30 limit! The sound just isn’t loud enough on the player to block out the engine noise of a bus or train (or even the thumping dance music of the person sitting next to you!). Apparently this is due to those lovely people of the EU and a law in France regarding MP3 volume capping limits (2.5W instead of the usual 5W), although i’ve never experienced this before with any of my other MP3 players here in the UK, not even the one on my Sony Ericsson phone. So if your thinking of buying one, import one from anywhere but Europe, you will at least then have the option of turning the volume up when needed, even with decent headphones you still want to crank it up one more bar.
